Ushers are the first people parishioners and visitors meet upon entering the church. Ushers provide assistance at Sunday Masses and other special liturgical celebrations. Ushers are greeters, they guide people to their seats, distribute materials and information. They also take up the collection and ask worshippers to be gift bears at mass.
